Lights...Camera...Dollywood!!!

I have been traveling to Dollywood for years.....Okay lets back up and start from the beginning! I can remember visiting Dollywood before it was Dollywood...What was it before? Silver Dollar City!! as a kid I have little memories of that time,but then in the 80's I remember when everything changed to Dollywood,it has grown and changed over the years. I basically remember when the parking lot was gravel!! So now lets move ahead!!! Fast forward to 2011,my mom and I decided we wanted to go on vacation to Pigeon Forge,somewhere we hadn's been,other than day trips, in years. We chose the week of July 4th,found a hotel and as soon we checked in,off to Dollywood we went...after that first day we were hooked! Bought a Season Pass ans have been proud holders ever since!! Now that you have my history of Dollywood...heres some tips for visiting!! 1.Get a Season Pass,only one is needed for a family! Saves on parking,food and merchandise in the park 2.Ladies if can get away without a purse,do it,this saves time from the bag check! 3.Rent Strollers,ECV's,Wheelchairs from Dollywood,saves the hassle of lugging yours to the park 4.If you're a thrill seeker and like the rides go to the left when you enter the park,it's a up hill climb but you'll get to the rides first.. 5.If you're like me and like the shows and shops go to the right!! 6.A tip for restrooms....everyone seems to stop at the beside the Sweet Shop,but if you keep walking,go across the first bridge there is hidden restroom just behind the My People Show!
